Well-Being in the Classroom Elective
Monarch High School, Boulder Valley Public Schools
Anthropedia piloted an 18-week elective class designed around the Know Yourself DVD series with 15 juniors and seniors at Monarch High School. Students watched the series bi-weekly and engaged in discussion, journaling, and reflection on the course. Students learned about what makes them happy and unhappy, their personality, their outlooks, and a number of other concepts key to attaining personal well-being in an academic context. Students also read supplementary materials designed to support the content of the DVD series.
