"Going Out For a Good Cause" Event Benefitting the Anthropedia Foundation at The Border Restaurant in Denver, CO

Anthropedia was chosen as the benefitting charity for "Going Out For a Good Cause" for the month of August. This lively new monthly meet-up was created to spotlight local and national charities, and to raise money for them in an atmosphere that promotes fellowship and altruism among young professionals ages 20-40. Held at a different bar or restaurant each month, among the guests are members of each participating charity, who provide information and opportunities for involvement.

This month, the event was held at The Border Restaurant, located off of University Avenue near the University of Denver. The restaurant has generously offered to donate 15% of the evening's profits to Anthropedia.

Anthropedia participates in "Change a Mind, Change a Life" Gala Event at the Saint Louis Four Seasons Hotel

On April 16th, the Bring Change 2 Mind Foundation and the Karla Smith Foundation partnered to host the "Change a Mind, Change a Life" charity dinner gala in Saint Louis, Missouri. Proceeds benefitted the organizations' missions of erasing the stigma of mental illness and increasing support for families and friends of those suffering from mental illness.

In support of these efforts, Anthropedia provided a copy of Know Yourself Part 1 for each gala attendee to learn more about well-being. The evening began with cocktails and included a four-course dinner, followed by an after party. Ms. Glenn Close, award-winning actress and co-founder of Bring Change 2 Mind, spoke about what led her to take action against the stigma of mental illness, and her goals for changing how people think about mental health issues.
